## FAQ

**How is Capitality different from Yardi or AppFolio?**
Capitality is purpose-built for the DACH market on one event-sourced engine. It optimizes for time-to-value, radical UX clarity and DACH-native workflows: OpenImmo import ships today; DATEV and ImmoScout24 integrations are openly on the roadmap. It deliberately does not compete on full-GL ERP parity.

**Can we run sales and property management in one account?**
Yes. A tenant carries a solution flag that drives vocabulary, navigation and dashboards. Multi-solution tenants with a switcher are on the published roadmap.

**Does Capitality replace accounting software?**
No — deliberately. Capitality is a system of action: pipeline, operations, collaboration. It feeds clean, trustworthy data into your accounting via exports and APIs; a DATEV export is on the published roadmap.

**Where is our data stored?**
EU hosting with data residency in Germany. GDPR-compliant processing, documented sub-processors, tenant isolation enforced at the CQRS and database layer.

**Is there an API?**
Yes — a typed tRPC contract, a real-time event stream and webhooks. Every change in Capitality is an event you can build on.

**How long does onboarding take?**
A day, not a quarter. Choose a solution, the tenant auto-configures, import runs via OpenImmo or spreadsheets — your team works with live data from day one.
